The Lady Chapel windows contain our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of our Lord, in the centre; on the left is the Old Testament matriarch Hannah with her son, the future prophet Samuel; and on the right, St Elizabeth with her young son, St John the Baptist. The Good Shepherd window is in the Baptistery, reminding us that our Lord Jesus Christ guides and guards us, like a shepherd does his sheep, throughout our Christian lives, which begin with Holy Baptism. |
